Brecksville scored the first three goals and Berea scored on a Corbie Yee penalty kick with under two minutes remaining. Brecksville cleared its bench with twenty minutes left in regulation. Berea played hard the whole afternoon and made scoring difficult.

central keeps unbeaten streak alive....10 straight. freshman lauren farell scored 20 minutes into game....game remained tied with borth teams hitting the post once. with 42 seconds left, junior heather wagner (aw) tied game from 35 yards. great result for central vs. year in and year out toledo powerhouse AW.

notre dame scored halfway thru first half on a high ball misjudged by the central keeper. senior emily large tied the game on a header with 16 minutes to play. notre dame then held off a fury for the last 10 minutes. great game..even teams. central catholic has now gone 11 straight games unbeaten.

clean, hard fought classic first round tournament game won by notre dame in sudden death PK's. regulation time went 0-0, with possession shifting back and forth. first half was 60-40% ND, second half was 65-35% central catholic. both teams had a quality chances to score, but both keepers came up big. both 15 minute overtime sessions also ended up scoreless, but central catholic almost ended it with 7:00 left in second overtime on a rebounded ball off ND keeper, but just missed. the regulation shootout was 2-2 with central freshman lauren farell having a chance to win it, but was stopped on a save to the keepers right. ND won it on the first sudden death PK kicker. great game by both sides....tough way to end the year.
