Jordan Halloran and Stefan Latham each scored within the game’s first 12 minutes, and the Catholic Central boys soccer team held on to top Cincinnati Seven Hills 2-1 in the title game of the Miami Valley Tournament on Thursday.
“We had a tough preseason schedule and it carried into these first two games,” said Catholic Central coach Shane Latham. “It was really a game of two halves. We scored two goals in the first 12 minutes, then they scored with 13 minutes left and had an opportunity to tie game late.”

Jill Muffley had two goals and two assists to lead Graham to an 8-0 win over Northeastern. Megan Demarco and Miranda McIntosh each added two goals for the Falcons (2-0). Mia Grimes had nine saves in goal for the Jets.
