Girls soccer
Freshman Kara Gregory had a hat trick to lead Shawnee to its first CBC victory of the year, 4-2 over Benjamin Logan.
The Braves are 4-2 and 2-1.
In other girls soccer action:
LeeAnn Shaffer had a goal and an assist and Lauren Masquelier had two assists as Greenon routed Urbana 5-1 in CBC play.
Greenon improved to 2-3 and 2-1.
Senior Amber Anderson scored twice and Abby Griest had two assists to keep Northwestern unbeaten with a 3-1 decision over Bellefontaine.
The Warriors are 6-0 and 4-0.
Boys soccer
Chris Toth had four goals and two assists and Evan Lebaroff added two goals and two assists as Kenton Ridge beat Indian Lake 9-0.
James Ryan had four assists for the Cougars (4-2 and 2-1 CBC) and Zach Eaton added two more goals in the victory.
In other boys soccer action:
Senior Phillip Fulton scored a goal and had two assists to pace Northwestern to a 6-1 win over CBC foe Bellefontaine. Six different Warriors scored as the team moved to 4-1 and 3-0.
Steven Persinger and Tyler Jones had goals, but it wasn’t enough as Graham suffered its first loss of the season, 3-2 to Tipp City. The Falcons fell to 5-1 and 2-1 CBC, while Tipp City improved to 3-2-1 and 3-0.
Junior Mike Womacks had two goals as Shawnee beat Ben Logan 4-0, improving to 3-2 and 2-1 in the CBC.
