Alter hands Carroll boys first soccer loss  From the Dayton Daily News

Alter 3, Carroll 2: Dan McCarthy scored the winning goal with 18:40 remaining as Alter rebounded after trailing 2-0 to defeat Carroll, 3-2, Thursday night in boys high school soccer.


It was the first defeat of the season for 14-1 Carroll, which is the No. 1 Division II team in the state. Traditional rival Alter is 9-4-2.

  • Centerville 3, Cin. Moeller 0: Braden Bishop scored both goals as the Elks recorded the 500th win in school history, becoming the first program in the state to reach that number.

  • Greeneview 3, Jonathan Alder 1: The Rams, ranked No.1 among the state's Division III teams, finished the regular season at 16-0-0. Dustin Bryan had two goals and an assist.
