Dayton Christian played the role of spoiler, defeating Yellow Springs 2-1 in girls high school soccer action Saturday. The Bulldogs' loss means that Miami Valley clinches the Metro Buckeye Conference title.
Junior Jessica Rarick scored the winner on a place kick with just seven seconds remaining. Yellow Springs falls to 10-4-1 (8-2 MBC). Dayton Christian improves to 10-3-1.
