Greenon came out of the locker room at halftime and scored three goals in the first 10 minutes of the second half to take control of the match and cruised to a 5-1 Division II boys soccer sectional semifinal win Saturday.
“The second half of the year, it has all come together,” Knights coach Jeff Nickles. “We had three freshmen on varsity and three others who had never played varsity before, so it took them a little while to put it together”
The Knights, 9-8-1, got a goal and two assists from Todd Elliott, while Klajdi Rrumballaku, Mike Riehle, Mike Hart and Robin Duffey also scored and Casey Wells added two assists. Brett Woldrufff added five saves for the winners, who will play the Tipp City-Urbana winner on the road Wednesday at 7 p.m. for a sectional title.
The Tipp-Urbana match was to have been played Saturday, but was postponed until Monday at 7 p.m. because of poor field conditions.

Senior Ryan Finnegan scored a goal and senior Jacob Gullett, junior Kevin Wickline and senior Phillip Fulton all added assists for the Warriors (13-3-1), who host KR at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
