Jenna Cooper scored the only goal of the match with 3:45 remaining.
Now 18-1-1, Northwestern was No. 8 in the final D-II state coaches poll while 14-3-3 Indian Hill was No. 6.
Northwestern will play No.1 Hamilton Badin in the regional final Saturday at Princeton High School at 3 p.m. Badin (15-3-2) defeated Madeira in another regional semi, 5-1.
Lynchburg Clay 3, Spg, Kenton Ridge 1: Lynchburg jumped out early in their Columbus D-II regional semi. Ashley Burkhardt had the goal for KR which closes out at 14-4-2.
