Jamestown Greeneview 1, Youngstown Mooney 0 SO
Jamestown Greeneview (23-0) beat Youngstown Mooney (18-4-1) three goals to one in a shootout to win its first state championship with a 1-0 victory in the Division III final.

Rams goaltender Martin Ellis withstood 43 shots, including 11 shots on goal and 15 corner kicks. He had two of his 13 saves during the shootout.

"We’re going to let you shoot," coach Bob Eakins said. "But you’re either going to have us on top of you, or beside you, or in front of you, and that’s what we did tonight."

Forwards Zack Hernan, Aleko Frangopoulos and Dom DiPasuale had 34 of the 43 shots for the Cardinals, who lost to Watkins Memorial in the Division II final last year.

Hernan scored the only Cardinals goal in the shootout.

The best scoring chance in regulation came from the Cardinals with 5:40 left in the first half when Robbie Fox’s corner-kick header hit the crossbar. They also had a shootout attempt sail over the goal.
